Aarhus Filmfestival organizes a competition for films from the region of Jutland, presented in the screening programme  Go Wæst. All films compete for the award for Best Film from Vest Denmark, while a number of films also compete for the award of Best Talent Film.

International programmes are non-competitive.

One week’s use of studio facilities in Filmstudie 2, sponsored by Filmby Århus (value: DKK 12.500).

One week’s use of Hi-end camera equipment, incl. HD lense, sponsored by MedieTek (value: DKK 40.000).

One week’s use of lightening equipment, sponsored by FilmGear (value: DKK 6.500)

Best Talent Film 09:
Two days of colour-grading, sponsored by Picturewise (value DKK 12.000).

Three days of post-production in sound studio, sponsored by Soundmill Aps. (value DKK 20.000).

The presentation of awards will take place at the Chaos Pilots,
Saturday Nov. 14th at 21.00
followed by this years film party, Celebrate the Film.
